After baptism, a child belongs to God. But in order to participate fully in the life of the Church, it is important to take the next step: partaking of the Eucharist. In a very special way this is celebrated when children make their First Communion, then for the first time (and hopefully not for the last time) they participate in the Lord's Supper.
Preparation for First Communion for children in grade 4 of elementary school is done the same way for all of the parish.
It is a celebration for all the parish community to be able to prepare the youngest generation to celebrate the sacrament of the Eucharist. In the church, around the altar, we celebrate our faith par excellence; that we are a family in Christ!
Special information evenings for parents of children in grade 4 of elementary school (or above) are on September 13 and 14, 2022 at 8 p.m. During these evenings they will receive the information and can register.
Location of the information evenings: Pastoral Center, Saint George Avenue 51.
