Holy Confirmation

For a group of teens and their parents, we are going to create a special route of preparation for Holy Confirmation again this year. The Sacrament of Confirmation is the confirmation by God with the gift of His Spirit for you! He equips man to stand strong through the power of His Holy Spirit in the midst of our society. There is a special track for adults.

Preparation

In the sacrament of Confirmation, young people receive the Holy Spirit, who confirms and helps them to be true disciples of Christ as full members of the Catholic Church. The Holy Spirit helps to truly live out the faith and to do so every day. He bestows the power to witness to Christ (bear witness to your faith). The teens, supported by the community, also choose for themselves to become full active members of the Catholic Church.

Special information evenings (2025-2026) for parents as well as confirmands with more information on the meaning of the sacrament, the course of preparation and all kinds of practical matters take place at: 

Tuesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 20.00 pm. You can choose one of these evenings.
Location of information evenings: Pastoral Center, Sint Jorislaan 51.
