In recent years, more than 325,000 people in the Netherlands have taken an Alpha course. Almost all participants reported that the course had a positive impact on their faith and life. Also in the Netherlands, many RC parishes have already discovered that Alpha helps to be more consciously engaged in the original mission of the Church: proclaiming the Good News and making disciples.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Alpha course! Never attended an Alpha before? This is your chance! The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a convivial meal; then there is an inspiring introduction that you will talk about with other participants.

The Alpha course covers the basics of the Christian faith. For example, "Who is Jesus?"; "Prayer: why and how?" Therefore, Alpha is very suitable for people who have little connection (anymore) with the church. But you are also welcome if you would like to learn to better articulate and shape your faith in your daily life, to be able to share it more with others!

This Alpha course is organized for the two parishes of our city and will take place in the Mary Hall of St. Joris Church.
