Christmas dinner youth group St. Joris
Nearly 100 young people dine together leading up to Christmas
Christmas dinner youth group St. Joris: an evening of connection and conviviality
This past weekend, the youth group of parish St. Joris organized for the third time an atmospheric Christmas dinner for young people between the ages of 16 and 30 from different parishes.
What started 3 years ago with 14 people has already grown to nearly 100 young people who came together for an evening of conviviality, meeting and deepening.
Everyone contributed to the dinner by bringing something delicious to share.
Many had made a lot of work with homemade dishes that everyone could enjoy.
Pastor Wilmink opened the evening with an inspiring word and prayer, after which Robin briefly explained the program on behalf of the youth group.
The warm atmosphere was immediately tangible, and it was clear that many had been looking forward to this moment.
There was room for beautiful conversations, a lot of fun and a deep sense of togetherness.
A short moment of reflection and silence brought those present even more into the atmosphere of Christmas: a time of reflection and being together.
The evening ended with a pleasant drink, after which everyone returned home satisfied and fulfilled.
The youth group of St. Joris has shown that it knows how to connect and motivate young people in a wonderful way and is more than worthwhile to come.
A more than successful evening that certainly tastes for more!
